- Ann Nanda has been tapped as chief growth officer at Zinnia, a leading life and annuities technology platform. Nanda will lead Zinnia’s growth strategy and will focus on scaling market adoption and deepening client partnerships. Prior to joining Zinna, Nanda held multiple executive roles at Prudential Financial. At the firm, she most recently served as head of retirement future growth and firm engagement. Zinnia, which is a division of Eldridge Industries, is also backed by funds managed by KKR and Vista Credit Partners.
- Kristin Streff has been named CCO at Carson Group, replacing James Clements, who has served as CCO of Carson Group since July 2020, and most recently left the firm to join CreativeOne Securities, an independent broker-dealer. Prior to joining Carson, Streff was previously affiliated with First National Bank of Omaha and will assume her role on April 28.
- Kristi Higgins has been named head of ETF strategy at Raymond James Investment Management. Higgins will focus on supporting the development and expansion of Raymond James Investment Management’s active ETF platform. She will be reporting to Johan Grahn, head of ETFs. Higgins will also work closely with Susan Walzer, President of the firm’s Family of Funds. Prior to joining Raymond James Investment Management, Higgins was a senior investment strategist and VP at Dimensional Fund Advisors.
- Mike Morey has been appointed as EVP of capital markets at Peachtree Group, an investment management firm. Morey will lead the firm’s insurance capital markets strategy and will be focusing on expanding lender relationships, optimizing capital sourcing, and enhancing execution across its investment platform. Prior to joining Peachtree, Morey spent more than 15 years with The Standard, where he held senior roles within its real estate lending platform, StanCorp Mortgage Investors.
- Stacie Nabedrick has been appointed as SVP, advisor, and client technology solutions at Osaic Wealth. Nabedrick will lead the strategy and development of Osaic’s advisor- and end-client-facing technology solutions. Nabedrick will also guide the buildout of Osaic’s digital ecosystem, including advancement of its eQuipt platform. Before joining Osaic, Nabedrick served as director of customer success at Microsoft.
- ProShares has launched its first commodities ETFs, which target 2x daily returns of platinum and palladium. The firm also introduced an ETF targeting 2x daily returns of copper. The ETFs are: ProShares Ultra Platinum K-1 Free ETF, ProShares Ultra Palladium K-1 Free ETF, and ProShares Ultra Copper K-1 Free ETF. The funds are K-1 free and provide Form 1099 tax reporting.
- BetaNXT, a wealth management technology provider, has rolled out its intelligent validation platform, dubbed Val. The platform is designed to apply regulated-based intelligence across documents, data, and workflows. The solution also enables financial services firms to deploy automated validation logic across high-volume processes. Val is the latest release from BetaNXT’s newly launched AI Innovation Lab. Val supports documents such as broker statements, trade confirmations, and tax forms.
- Financial advisor Brian Bogue has launched Texas Wealth Solutions through affiliation with LPL Financial’s supported independence model, LPL Independent Advisor Network. Bogue was previously affiliated with PNC Wealth Management, where he managed about $235M in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets. Bogu, who brings more than 25 years of industry experience to LPL, is based in Longview, Texas, and chose to affiliate with LPL’s Independent Advisor Network because the network’s model “aligned with his long-term vision.”
- RIA Caprock has added an office in Denver, Colorado, to support its continued advisor and client growth. The launch of its latest office brings the firm to 10 offices across the country. The Denver office at 6312 S. Fiddler’s Green Circle in Greenwood Village, and serves high-net-worth clients, including entrepreneurs, investors, professional athletes, and generational families. The office will be anchored by director and client advisor Eric Osmundson, who has been with Caprock since 2015, and director of strategic development Bennie Fowler III, who joined Caprock in 2024.
- Cleveland-based Ancora, an investment advisory and insurance solutions provider, has expanded its presence in Chicago, Illinois, and Columbus, Ohio. The expansion will serve both existing and new clients in the Chicago and Columbus markets. Ancora Holdings Group, founded in 2003, offers investment advisory, asset management, and insurance solutions to individuals, families, organizations, and institutions across the United States.
- AssetMark has made some enhancements to its Self-Directed Brokerage Account program. The program is designed to help financial advisors deliver professional, in-plan investment advice and portfolio management services for client assets held in workplace retirement plans. The SDBA structure is built around ten diversified, professionally managed mutual fund strategies designed specifically for in-plan retirement accounts. The solution will be integrated into AssetMark’s existing platform and advisor workflows. The enhanced SDBA program is available to AssetMark advisors beginning this month.
- Financial advisor Courtney Walker has joined LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and registered investment advisor platform. Walker has also joined an existing firm, Spring Line Wealth Partners, which supports LPL-affiliated advisors. Walker was previously affiliated with JP Morgan, where she oversaw about $180M in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets. Walker chose LPL for its “independence, flexibility, and access to a broad range of non-proprietary investment solutions.”
